Job Description
Business Development Representatives are responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with other companies or contacts on behalf of SKY Restoration DKI. This position receives direction from the Marketing Manager.

This is an AT WILL position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

  • Portfolio management experience in managing multiple customers and resources
  • Business management creating long-lasting relationships business to business
  • Understanding project management, intricacies, and components of restoration and mitigation including significant commercial losses.
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be creative to plan and accomplish various goals and be results-orientated.
  • Must be influential in demonstrating the purpose and value proposition of all SKY Restoration Programs.
  • Requires strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and detail-oriented.
  • Solid negotiation skills and an understanding of legal agreements.
  • Sales experience in the service industry is preferred.
  • Identify key accounts and effectively position service offerings across the organization.
  • Use a consultative selling approach to establish sustainable relationships with key executives and decision-makers.
  • Use various means of outreach, including contacting clients, attending marketing events, and establishing relationships with industry centers of influence to drive results.
  • Delivering both in-person and virtual proposals to support the business case
  • Able to demonstrate considerable account sales success and navigate complex selling environments.
  • Excellent communicator within the executive suite and other key leaders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software)

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING/EDUCATION GUIDELINES

Any combination of experience and education that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

  • Sales or Marketing Degree
  • 5+ years of Restoration industry experience
  • Possession of a valid state drivers license
  • Applicability industrial certifications preferred
  • Basic principles and practices of organization and administration
  • Modern office practices and technology, appropriate phone skills, and resolution of customer complaints and issues
  • Restoration Industry Software
  • Professional ethics restoration industry language, practices, and terminology; ability to seek out knowledge if new to the industry
  • Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations that govern the areas of the position
  • OSHA safety regulations as they pertain to the restoration industry; maintain an active role in monitoring the safety of yourself and other team members

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Mobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle and to visit various customers and meeting sites
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods
  • Accurate vision to read printed materials and a computer screen
  • Ability to communicate in person, before groups, and over the telephone
  • Finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, writing implements, office equipment, and calculator

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Employees may be in all types of weather conditions and office environment

PAY

Pay will be based on previous experience ranging from $45,000-50,000 plus a commission structure based on client relationships built and employee revenue
