Cooperstown All Star Village is a state-of-the-art sports complex located in Oneonta, NY. Cooperstown All Star Village specializes in youth baseball tournaments bringing teammates, coaches, and families together through our Big-League Experiences. Summary:

As a successful Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with food & beverage during our summer week-long events at the Cooperstown All Star Village. This is a paid Internship, while also being able to earn college credit.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly under the F&B General Manager in assisting with food prep, guest service, and cleaning.
• Be able to work as a shift lead in the absence of the F&B General Manager.
• Assist concessions staff as needed, including working as a cashier, cook and runner.
• Always convey and maintain a high level of professionalism while providing extraordinary external and internal customer service.
• Absorb training and demonstrate the initiative, desire, and drive to help uphold the values established by the Cooperstown All Star Village name and brand.
• Work with staff to achieve objectives effectively and efficiently while providing a once-in-a-lifetime experience for participants.
• Basic cleaning duties including but are not limited to sweeping, mopping, cleaning & stocking restrooms, cleaning windows and picking up trash.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Current college student majoring in Hospitality or food service program.
• Prior work experience in customer service environment.
• Prior work experience in food and beverage environment.
• Strong work ethic.
• Team player who is willing and able to listen and learn.
• Ability to commit to long work hours and a flexible work schedule.
• Be outgoing, with a friendly personality, and high energy.
