HiFyve has a client in Rochester, IN that is hiring for a Production Supervisor.


Salary: $60k-$70k + bonus opportunities

First shift: 6AM-3PM

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure strict adherence to safety policies and procedures, fostering a culture of safety awareness among employees.
  • Maintain an organized and pleasant work environment using 5S principles.
  • Facilitate smooth production flow between departments by maintaining open communication with managers and line leads.
  • Support employee training and disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Set clear performance expectations, equip workers with necessary resources, and offer support for their success.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities for team leads and other staff members.
  • Efficiently execute production schedules while prioritizing safety and quality.
  • Identify and implement measures to reduce costs and enhance productivity.
  • Maintain equipment functionality through proper operation, preventative maintenance, and timely repair requests.
  • Consistently enforce disciplinary policies in alignment with company standards.
  • Monitor and report production levels to management.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with established procedures and update them as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a technical or management field, or equivalent certification and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a shift supervisor and/or line lead, overseeing teams of 25 or more employees.
  • At least 5 years of manufacturing experience, with a background in assembly operations.
  • Hands-on approach to problem-solving, with a focus on root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and continuous improvement.
  • Bilingual proficiency is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with ERP, PLM, and QMS systems
