Rooms Inspector / Supervisor

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charleston Airport Convention Center are seeking individuals to join an outstanding team. Potential candidates must be energetic, upbeat, outgoing, and have the willingness to provide the best guest service.

Our Room Inspectors/Supervisors are the final element of ensuring our rooms are clean and ready for our incoming guests. Their attention to detail ensuring that the cleanliness of our rooms exceeds our guests' expectations.

· Open the house and assign boards in OPERA for room attendants based upon prior night’s occupancy.

· Inspect guest check-out rooms for cleanliness, appropriate guest amenities, and the correct working condition of all guest room equipment.

· Report any substandard conditions of guest rooms to Executive Housekeeper/Maintenance.

· Report any damage or problems with the guest room and room equipment using a Maintenance work order.

· Communicate to the Front Desk all vacant and clean rooms the completion of guest requests and room status discrepancies. Confirm late check-outs and additional guest requests for appropriate follow-up action by the Inspector early morning.

· Lost and found must be logged at end of day and placed in secure cabinet.

· Interact with the hotel's guests in a friendly positive manner as a solution to their needs and a solution to any of their problems. The Inspector will often act as a liaison between the guest and the room cleaner.

· Complete report of vacant guest room status for the Front Desk at the end of the shift.

· Other duties as required.
