Responsibilities:


  • Promote Energy Efficiency (EE) programs to medium to large business and government sector customers via one on one meetings, presentations, and networking throughout South Jersey on behalf of the local utility company, Atlantic City Electric (ACE)
  • Support campaigns (email, phone follow up) to develop opportunities/projects for the EE program
  • Interact with Service Providers and recruit new Service Providers to the EE Program
  • Track all activity in CRM system
  • Maintain a favorable public image for the organization
  • Develop and deliver presentations at membership organizations, conferences, trade ally groups, etc.
  • Staff informational booths at trade shows /conferences/events.
  • Assist customers in navigating program options and submitting applications for rebates or incentives for HVAC, lighting, motors and more.
  • Respond to hotline inquiries
  • May assist in completing QA inspections on as-needed basis
  • Minimum 35% travel is typical - driving for meetings, appointments, etc. in the territory; may increase to 50-75%
  • Self-starter, organized, strong communication skills, follows directions and able to work effectively independently
Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in Commercial energy efficiency programs preferred
  • Min 2 years of previous sales or field experience within energy related industry
  • High performer in sales and/or customer service
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to multi-task to support concurrent priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills & presentation skills
  • Windows-based software experience, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Friendly and professional
  • Independent worker
