Dairy Queen-Caribou General Manager

The Joplin 44 PETRO is seeking a qualified General Manager to run our Dairy Queen and Caribou Coffee Restaurants. The Dairy Queen and Caribou Coffee General Manager must be motivated, capable of working in a fast-paced environment and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring 100% guest satisfaction, implementing of Company policies and Dairy Queen and Caribou Coffee policies, training all employees, motivating staff, food inventory, maintaining high food quality, and cost control.
• This includes the scheduling, development, and supervision of the staff to maximize the QSRs profitability by building and maintaining a strong loyal customer base within company policies
• It is expected that the General Manager will work to build and maintain a strong, dynamic QSR team by communicating a clear vision and giving direction on marketing, personnel, financial/P&L, operational, accounting, and site appearance issues
• Assures the profit center meets or exceeds its budget and is maintained to company standards

• Minimum 3 years experience as a general manager of a high-volume QSR.
• Must be available to work all hours and days
• 50-hour work week - 5-day work week
• Must have experience maintaining labor and food cost
• Ability to train out of state for 4-6 weeks
• Driven by success
• High School Diploma required--some college preferred
• Customer Service Skills that are second to none
• Ability to work with vendors
• Proven leadership skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with a high level of confidence
• Proven ability to analyze Profit & Loss Statements
