Travel CT Technologist Position in Nebraska City, NE

Job Title: Travel CT Tech

Location: Nebraska City, NE

Shift: Mixed shifts with 1-2 days staying until 7 pm M-Th, Fridays latest is 5:30 pm, and rotating weekend call.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Travel CT Tech to join our team in Nebraska City, NE. As a Travel CT Tech, you will be responsible for operating computerized tomography (CT) equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging services to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans according to established protocols and procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Monitor patients' condition during scans and report any unusual findings to the appropriate medical staff.
• Maintain and operate CT equipment, including performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to review and analyze imaging results.
• Maintain patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures.

Requirements:

• ARRT (Aman Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.
• Valid state radiologic technologist license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
