Job Type: Full-time, Contract

Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: June (with possibility of extension)

We are currently seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with PreK-3rd grade students in Smithfield, VA. The SLP will be responsible for evaluating and treating students with speech and language disorders, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each student.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting screenings and assessments to determine speech and language disorders
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Monitoring and documenting progress of each student
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each student
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all student evaluations and treatments

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state license to practice as an SLP
  • Experience working with children in a school setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
