Position Overview: ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Virtual School Psychologist for a contract position to provide teletherapy services to students in Virginia. As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise to support students' social, emotional, and academic development in virtual learning environments. If you are a licensed psychologist in Virginia with a heart for helping students thrive, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
• Collaborate with school teams, parents, and caregivers to develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support students' mental wellness and academic success.
• Provide virtual counseling and therapy services to address a range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
• Offer consultation and support to educators and families on strategies for promoting positive behavior, social-emotional learning, and mental wellness in virtual learning environments.
• Participate in virtual IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings to provide input on students' needs and progress.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and guidelines related to virtual school psychology and teletherapy.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Virginia.
• Previous experience providing teletherapy or virtual services preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development, mental health disorders, and evidence-based interventions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to establish rapport and engage students in virtual therapeutic sessions.
• Proficiency in utilizing teletherapy platforms and technology to deliver services effectively.
