Industrial Electrician

Responsibilities:

• Keeps immediate supervisor up to date on all on-going projects, with regards to project status, completion time, and any problems that may have arisen.
• Conducts tests on overhead cranes and keeps accurate records to reflect service record
• Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction
• Performs inspections and installations of parts and components on equipment, maintains accurate records of the installation of these parts and the collection of test data
• Operates required machinery and equipment in a safe manner following established safety rules, maintains a neat and clean work area, follows established tool and instrument control procedures, and reports any unsafe acts or conditions to Team Leader

​​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in electrical engineering, industrial equipment or other related fields
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
• Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
