Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to serve as the technical lead in operating and maintaining plant equipment for a leading manufacturing facility. As an integral member of their team, you'll manage machinery design, project development, testing, and problem-solving. Your responsibilities will include designing and upgrading both new and existing equipment projects, as well as overseeing electrical system enhancements within their facility. Key Responsibilities:
· Design and draft electrical circuits, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
· Develop control reliable safety circuits and interlocks.
· Collaborate with vendors to maintain an up-to-date Arc Flash program.
· Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software for daily tasks.
· Direct and coordinate equipment operation, maintenance, and repair activities.
· Demonstrate proficiency in low and medium voltage AC and DC power systems.
· Possess knowledge of equipment control circuits and experience with Allen Bradley PLC's and HMI's.
· Ensure compliance with federal and state safety regulations.
· Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
· Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks efficiently within approved budgets.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing work methods and procedures to enhance product quality.
· Collaborate closely with the maintenance team to address operational issues promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
