Yard Dog Driver Details:
- Temporary position
- $19.94 to $20.69 /hour
- Full Time work available
- Weekend work required
- Various shifts available (Monday through Friday from 04:30pm to 12:30am)
- 2nd shift 4pm-12:30am
- Yard dog drivers help move semi-trailers with cargo in a warehouse environment.
- Maneuver trucks within the yard.
- Assist with docking trailers.
Yard Dog Driver Qualifications:
- No high school diploma or GED required!
- Ability to back a tractor trailer and move in and out of yard truck repetitively.
- Ability for frequent walking, bending, reaching and pushing.
- Valid Alabama drivers license required.
- Must have 2 years of previous tractor trailer, flatbed driving experience.
- Ability to work out doors, in the elements, year round.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
