Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive social assessments and evaluations
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
• Provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable insights to the multidisciplinary team
• Connect families with community resources and support services
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work
• Michigan State License in School Social Work
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
