Job Description: ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team on a contract basis in Indianapolis, IN. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students by providing comprehensive psychological services to support their academic, social, and emotional development. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is committed to promoting a positive and inclusive school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges
  • Administer and interpret standardized tests and assessments to identify students' strengths and needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop intervention strategies
  • Stay current on best practices and research in the field of school psychology

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid Indiana School Services Personnel license with a School Psychologist endorsement
  • Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting preferred
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
