Sunbelt has an opening for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Warm Springs, MT area for a 13-week assignment at a Psychiatric Unit. At least two years of experience as a Psychiatric RN is required. Interested applicants should apply today!
Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:
- Performs intake assessments by conducting interviews with patients and their relatives to collect case history. Additionally, plans and delivers nursing care for patients.
- Evaluates the medical and emotional status of patients, providing nursing diagnoses as necessary. Recommends treatment options and collaborates with psychiatrists and other behavioral health staff to develop suitable treatment plans for clients.
- Administers psychotropic drugs and other medications, observing and documenting patients' reactions.
Education and Qualifications of the Registered Nurse:
- Montana Registered Nurse (RN) License required or compact license
- Basic Life Support Certification required
- Crisis Prevention Intervention
- EPIC Charting experience preferred
Employment Type:
- 13 week full time contract
Work Hours:
- Assignment will consist of variable shifts, 12-hour shifts
