What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead initiatives to boost facility uptime through robust reliability plans.
  • Conduct detailed root cause analyses to eradicate equipment failures, setting a new standard for preventative measures.
  • Bring reliability to the forefront during the design and redesign phases of installations, ensuring long-term efficiency.
  • Oversee predictive and preventive maintenance strategies, elevating machinery reliability.
  • Harness the power of SAP Maintenance software to streamline operations, from work order tracking to managing routine maintenance and spare parts inventory.
  • Work closely with the product development team to craft bespoke solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Institute and uphold the highest Maintenance Engineering practices, driving superior equipment performance.
  • Fuel our drive for continuous improvement by identifying and executing efficiency enhancements.
  • Synchronize your efforts with the Spring Grove Business Plan and the Pixelle Business System for uniform progress.
  • Tackle recurrent equipment challenges head-on, providing lasting solutions to improve reliability.

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in reliability engineering, showcasing a track record of impactful contributions.
  • Proven expertise in the pulp and paper industry or a similar heavy-industrial setting.
  • Strong foundation in predictive and preventive maintenance techniques.
  • Proficient in SAP Maintenance software, demonstrating an ability to leverage tech to optimize maintenance operations.
  • A solid academic background with a Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or chemical engineering, or in a closely related discipline.
