Kids Place Team Leader

Position Summary
The following provides a detailed description for the position of Kids Place Evening Supervisor. Actual duties performed may vary slightly. The Kids Place Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the operation of the Kids Place and all Kids Place Associates while on duty.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operation of the Kids Place room while on duty.
• Make sure that all child check in/out procedures are being followed & that each child has a Registration Card on file.
• Ensure that each child is signed in and out.
• Informing new parents of all policies and procedures.
• Ensure that the children remain in the Kids Place room.
• Provide care to children including paging the parent to change soiled diapers; clean soiled clothing; escort their child to the restroom and attend to similar needs of children.
• Report incidents to the Operations Supervisor & Filling out accident/incident reports when necessary.
• Administer first aid to children according to training you have received & company policy.
• Report all member complaints to the Operation Supervisor.
• Perform housekeeping duties in the Kids Place room to keep the area clean, orderly, and safe.
• Ensure that all toys & other objects are safe.
• Answer inquiries from parents and others.
• Center attention on the childrens needs and safety at all times. Must follow all safety rules.
• Follows & enforces the dress code policy.
• Maintain current CPR Certification & provide a card to corporate for your file.
• Maintain and demonstrate a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude to the kids, parents and co-workers.
• Provide parents information of the childs behavior and any unusual occurrences, bad behavior or activity involving their child.
• Make sure employees are properly supervising/interacting with each child in a positive & age range manner.
• Must be dependable/honest
• Help train all Kids Place staff & ensure that all staff meets minimum standards and requirements.
• Must work Monday thru Friday 3:55 pm -8 pm and Saturdays 7:55 am-1 pm.

Must have a positive attitude and be able to motivate staff in a positive manner
Understanding of basic computer procedures
Ability to handle challenging customer service issues with patience, tact & professionalism
Must have a high level of professionalism, honesty, integrity and work ethic

Position duties require daily standing, walking, sitting, lifting, bending, squatting and reaching.

Monday - Friday 3:55 pm -8 pm
