We have an immediate opening for an Body Shop Technician at our Body Shop in Frederick, MD. Our Body Shop Technicians are a vital member of our team and are charged with performing collision repairs, painting, and alignments. Work at the most modern truck paint and body shop in the Baltimore-Washington D.C. area! Our Body Shop houses a 60 ft. state-of-the-art AFC spray booth featuring the most current technology available: it is capable of painting two trucks at the same time, in two different colors, while all of the exhaust is filtered to meet EPA standards. We provide light and heavy-duty repairs for school buses, vans, and utility bodies. We also refurbish and modify vehicles including corporate re-identification.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Dismount and remount tires
- Align the wheel system
- Tear down and diagnostics
- Compile complete parts list
- Repair damaged areas to industry standard
- Prep surfaces for refinishing
- Refinish and color-match paint
Requirements
Qualified candidates will have their own hand tools and relevant training and/or experience, preferably with medium and/or heavy-duty trucks. Must be self-motivated, team player ready to hit the ground running.
SKILL, TRAINING, AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3 years of experience in an automotive or medium/heavy duty truck repair shop
- Box truck / trailer repair experience preferred
- Must have own tools
