Accounts Receivable Specialist
Pharmaceutical Distribution Company
$20.00-$23.00 per hour (DOE)
Temp to Hire!
Monday-Friday, 9:30am-6:30pm
Columbus, Ohio (onsite)
An independent medical wholesale distribution company located in Columbus, Ohio is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist. The AR Specialist is an integral part of the Finance Team. The primary duties are the performance of day-to-day financial transactions, including processing customer payments, application of credits to customer accounts, and compiling customer reports in compliance with the company’s financial policies and procedures.

What you’ll be doing:
- Processing daily Credit Card Charges & ACH Payments from customers
- Preparing monthly reporting
- Assisting with the credit hold review process
- Processing month-end customer statements
- Applying credit memos to customer accounts
- Reviewing customer account balances
- Monitoring and analysis of banking reports
- Customer inquiries related to A/R
- Cash posting-backup
- Daily balancing of A/R-backup
Who we’re looking for:
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality, accuracy, and reliability
- Must be extremely trustworthy with good attention to detail
- Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
- Professional communication skills, both internally and externally
- Associate degree in business or accounting or two years of AR experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Accounts Receivable Specialist Certification or other similar certification preferred
