Box Stacker (Palletizer)

Description:

The General Laborer is responsible for performing various supporting tasks to aid daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pallet platforms to stack packed product
• Remove boxes from conveyor and/or packaging area
• Ensure boxes meet code, printing and appearance requirement
• Gently stack boxes on pallet platforms according to stacking pattern
• Interact with forklift operators to ensure completed pallets are removed from the station in a timely manner
• Relieve co-workers as directed by supervisory personnel
• Maintain work area clean and free of debris
• Other duties or tasks as needed

Requirements:

Education and Experience

• Experience working in a fast-paced production/warehouse environment in the last year required

Skills

• Ability to lift 40+ lbs. consistently throughout the day
• Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing
• Ability to climb and descend stairs frequently

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to a typical fast-paced production environment —high industrial and agricultural equipment traffic, extreme temperatures in an environment exposed to dust, peach fuzz and other natural elements.

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, over-time, double-time and holidays throughout the duration of our pack season (May to September); this is critical to support the needs of the business and is subject to change.
