SMS Staffing Inc is Hiring Immediately for a skilled Associate I Payroll!
Job Title: Associate I Payroll
Job Location: St. Paul, MN, U.S.A.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Starts at $21.00 an hour
Shift Structure: ONSITE, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
About the Associate I Payroll Role: This position will be for the Payroll Tax Team.
- Prepares the monthly payroll
- Conducting the necessary processes for payment of the various components of salary, such as vacation pay, overtime, etc.
- Responsible for payment of legal charges and statutory withholdings, such as employee guarantee fund, social security, income tax, labor dues, etc.
- Makes the calculations of payments related to dismissals.
About You: The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- An Associate's Degree or Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable. CPP, FPC certification is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years experience with payroll taxes and resolving tax notices.
- Understand payroll tax knowledge, both state and local
- Worked in large company is preferable
- Zendesk exp is a plus
- Must have great organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Has great interpersonal skills
