- Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ensures all GPS, total Stations, and GPS machines are checked in on a regular basis (Control points and calibration).
- Perform basic troubleshooting of GPS machinery.
- Conveys GPS capabilities and limitations to project Superintendent or Foreman for layout expectations.
- Reads and comprehends plans.
- Set up digital excavation files and update as required.
- Create and maintain machine control files and survey files.
- Maintain up-to-date As-Built files
- Communicates with Project Management team to gather information to create files and keep them up to date. Also to ensure that each job is running smoothly and is issue free.
- Additional responsibilities as required.

E. Education and Experience
- Civil Construction, 3 years (Required).
- Machine Control, 3 years (Required)
- High School diploma or GED is preferred.
- AutoCAD 3 years (Required)
- Surveying 3 years (Preferred)
- Five (5) years related experience (Required).
- Willingness and ability to travel to and from job sites.
- Ability to understand and operate GPS Rover is preferred.
