Fulfillment Coordinator (Lead)

Job Summary (Primary Function)
The Fulfillment Coordinator assists a team of people in their assigned functional area to execute assigned activities accurately, efficiently, safely, and in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the lines are running consistently, efficiently, and in an organized manner while keeping line stoppages at a minimum.
• Maintain a consistent flow while setting the pace for production.
• Provide product placement/zoning suggestions to department leaders to improve process flow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; organize product, equipment, and supplies.
• Setup of inkjet and other equipment as needed.
• Ensure that all members of their line know the applicable brand guidelines, brand-specific activities, and KPPH goals.
• Sort invoices/work orders according to brand/kit complexity.
• Setup staff according to work order/invoice, brand, experience, and the complexity of kits.
• Create and foster a culture around daily KPPH goals.
• Push to meet or exceed KPPH run-time goals provided by department Lead/Supervisor/Manager.
• Identify areas of improvement and communicate with peers and the Leadership team.
• Ensure employees understand how to perform their duties safely, effectively, and efficiently which will include teaching, mentoring, and training as needed.
• Ensure QC findings are reported to the Leadership team promptly.
• Communicate with department leaders regarding issues that are a detriment to productivity and quality. Ensure paperwork is completed in a timely, thoroughly, and accurately.
• Achieve/execute annual and seasonal objectives.
• Maintain safety standards in compliance with company policy; reports safety issues to Leadership.
• Maintain and ensure SOP standards are always followed.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

• Other duties / responsibilities may be assigned to this position at the manager’s discretion.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English
• One-year experience in general warehousing, shipping and receiving.
• Must have good reading, writing and math skills.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to read & interpret documents such as safety rules, SOP’s, invoices, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as hand truck, pallet jack and forklift.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• Experience
• This position requires up to six months work experience to become proficient in all phases of the job.
• Independent Action and Judgment
• Work priorities are established by supervisor, requires the ability to understand and follow basic instructions and the use of equipment involving few decisions.
• Ability to visually inspect product and process orders in a fast-paced assembly line is required meeting production and performance metrics. Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity is required. Lifting up to 15 pounds several times a day with weights exceeding 40 pounds at a time is required. Standing is required 100% of the time. Walking is required up to 50% of time. Must wear hair nets and gloves where required. Bending and stooping required up to 30% of time. Pushing up to 60 pounds required up to 30% of time. Pulling up to 60 pounds required up to 30% of time.
• Mental and/or Visual Demand-
• Mental and visual demand varies according to task performed. Constant mental and visual alertness is required when performing inventory counts, data entry, verifications and documentation.
• Frequent mental and visual alertness is required to package product quickly and efficiently. Must be able to proficiently read and write. Must be able to read and write in English. Close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust to focus is required.

Responsibilities for equipment or process/ material or product/ safety of others/ work of others-

• Average steady care required to prevent damage to product.
• Reasonable care for equipment / process will prevent damage
• Responsible for own work but may coordinate work with others
• Must train, check and instruct other employees in the department.
• Attentiveness to work procedure will reduce risk of minor injury in work area.

SHIFTS & PAY RATES:

• $19.40 DOE
• SUN-THU 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• MON- FRI 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• MON- FRI 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Overtime Mandatory
