Job Summary:Complete all bartender responsibilities, in addition to acting as a Server in the bar/lounge area.
The Details:Position Type: SeasonalSeason Dates: late-May through mid-September 2024 (exact dates vary by location)Pay: $10.50/hr + tipsSchedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
* Welcome and greet all guests in a friendly and professional manner. * Arrive prepared and ready to work, clock-in through Kronos according to your schedule in 7 Shifts, check for any notes or communications from F&B Lead Team. * Check stocking and preparedness for the forthcoming shift * Accurately record and enter all food and beverage items in to the POS system; serve food and prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages promptly to guests; collect and process forms of payment accurately; ensuring guest satisfaction throughout. * Maximize sales by using menu knowledge and suggestive selling techniques. * Assist in other departments or with other job duties as requested or necessary in line with the overall success of the outlet, location, and company. * Bartenders also act as Lounge Servers.
* Follow Xanterra and NPS environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures. * Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Must have 3 - 5 years' experience in a High Volume capacity. * Possess knowledge in using fresh ingredients, cocktails, draft beers, and wine selections. * Must have the ability to work within and consistently build the service team and will be asked to help other team members as necessary. * Certification in the TIPS alcohol awareness program is required; workshops will be provided if not currently certified.
Physical Requirements include:
* Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time. * Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds. Frequent lifting and carrying of supplies, materials, and equipment throughout the day. * Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time. * Working safely with required chemicals.
