Experienced School Psychologist
Location: Manassas, VA area
We are currently seeking experienced School Psychologists to join our team for a full-time role in the Manassas, VA area. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students.
Requirements:
- Must meet all local and state requirements for School Psychologist licensure in Virginia
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience working in educational settings preferred
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment and intervention techniques
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' academic and emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students experiencing behavioral or emotional challenges
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and develop strategies for improvement
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of School Psychology
