Manufacturing Plant Operator (Halsey, OR)

(at a rate of up to 3 units per minute for 2 hours) while working in a non-climate-controlled areaSafety first attitudeBasic math understanding and manipulationAble to distinguish colorsMust be able to write Job Safety Analysis (JSA)Ability to run the Bagger/Heat Sealer efficiently, if applicable to the location.Operate material handling equipment, including order picker, pallet jack, and other equipment as required Key Personal Attributes Include:Team Player with a positive outlook, willing to work multiple shifts, and willing to work overtime hours during busy seasonsAlways maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.Must be punctual and on time for workAbility to work in an environment that has a moderately loud noise level Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:Properly label all containers and packages.Neatness and attention to detail on all paperwork, and seeing that it all returns to the office for processingDaily Maintenance and Cleanliness of all plant equipment and plantOversee tank farm cleanliness and upkeep. Secure the tank farm at the end of each dayFill containers with proper material and match the label and order.Wear proper safety equipment per SDS sheets of chemicals being handled by an employeeMake sure the tank is cleaned and ready to be filled, Ensure the integrity of the containers being filled is solid.Utilize catch basins for spillsMonitor all tanks that are being pumped into or out of for leaks, spills, or damageMake sure all containers are properly cleaned when done fillingMake sure all packaged products are put safely onto a pallet and wrapped with shrink wrap before being put into the warehouse for storage or onto the truck for deliveryTo complete daily and weekly checklistsUtilize and follow policies and proceduresComplete and enforce daily JSAFollow and understand order pick ticketsDetermine the correct packaging materials needed by product type.Calibrate and monitor manufacturing scalesHandle finished products with care and ensure the final pallet is within standard.Operate all equipment with respect and to company policyIdentify needed and complete maintenance as needed and to their best abilities.Accurately document work orders filled and turned in daily for computer entryPerform quality control while handling productsPerform other duties assigned by management professionally and efficiently Training Required, post-hire:All Position Specific SOP Training Requirements, specific to the locationFully successful in performing and demonstrating tasks and skills required of a material handler or equivalent prior Certifications Required, post-hire:Personal Protective Equipment CertificationAll required WE EHSS Certifications Compensation and Benefits:In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $17.88 - $22.63 per hour.  Note that wages may vary based on location, skills, and experience.  This position is eligible for vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits.  COMPANY CULTUREWilbur-Ellis is a company you can be proud to call your employerWilbur-Ellis markets and distributes agricultural products, animal feed, specialty chemicals, and food ingredients.
