Location: Thousand Oaks, CA, United StatesWhat you will do:Lead and hands-on support the North American accounting, financial controlling and reporting functionsEnsure timely and accurate financial and management reporting in compliance with GAAP, and IFRS respectivelyManage the revenue recognition process and reconciliation, and problem solve revenue recognition or system issuesEnsure internal controls environment is fully supported and maintainedCoordinate all finance efforts with Nemetschek Group headquarters and Maxon global organizationLead in all tax projects related to our North American entitiesBe involved with financial planning and analysis processes including annual operating planning, and monthly forecastingProvide process improvements as the business continues to expandSupport special project activities including M&A activities, business improvement projects, restructuring programsManage and develop the US-Finance team, fostering a positive and productive work environmentAddress employee concerns and grievances effectively, promoting employee satisfaction and retentionCollaborate closely with the HR team to implement and enforce company policies and proceduresLead recruitment efforts, performance management processes, and employee relations initiativesContribute to shaping a supportive and compliant workplace culture conducive to employee growth and company successIdentifies and communicates needed resources for projectsDefines and distributes assignments within team with necessary guidanceHolds regular 1:1s and check-ins with all direct reports and provides ongoing feedbackAssigns and monitors the work of the US-Finance team, providing technical support and directionDemonstrate strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skillsWhat we are looking for:Completed business studies (MBA) with a focus on finance / accounting; additional training as an accountant / CPA is an advantage10+ years of professional experience in the area of accounting & reporting ideally in the Software industry with management responsibilityConfident in tax law and IFRSProficiency in ERP systems as well as MS-Office (esp. Excel); NetSuite knowledge is a plusVery good English communicationSelf-assured and confident personality in a globally operating organization with a diverse working environmentInitial leadership experiencePersonal and data-focused leadership style with a strong hands on mentalityWhat we offer:You will be offered permanent employment, full-time, at our office listed above.
