Our product teams are made up of versatile individuals who thrive in a challenging work environment and enjoy applying their problem-solving skills. The product teams are setup to build and enhance technology products, and the role will ensure the built products are delivered per the plan and adopted by SFPS teams. The manager actively manages dependencies with parties outside the team, manages releases, and manages complete lifecycle of adoption by SFPS clients. This role will also, has additional administrative responsibilities of vendor, budget management, and resource management. Key need for the role is technology acumen to guide and coach different levels of DevOps and Developers in the team.Our Impact:SFNTA is key strategic group in SF BTO, that provides application modernization and cloud migration strategy, put technology roadmaps, evaluate and build accelerators & tools to enable modernization of Single-Family applications. It partners with Infrastructure teams to improve delivery efficiencies by introducing new technologies and removing bottlenecks. It improves developer experience and employee satisfaction by providing developer friendly tools, implementation patterns, training, and mentor.Your Impact:NTA portfolio consists of wide variety of Development, Testing and DevOps tools. As a Development Manager for the team, with strong technical knowledge and background, provide servant leadership to SFNTA team. Support team in delivery, release and people management aspects.Understand the BTO teams need of application tools and DevOps tools, support SFNTA team product owners and CPO do deliver NTA products, and partner with IT teams to influence them in providing platform support to host NTA products.Develop and maintain the working relationships, with SFPS BTO teams to educate and influence them in adopting the rolled out SFNTA products.Supervise a team of developers and a product analyst. As a manager, mentor and grow the direct reports. To meet the fast turnaround expectations from our customers, build and maintain a fast-paced delivery team that builds high quality products and provides outstanding support. Create an open minded and collaborative environment for employees to flourish but with clear accountability. Set and manage the objectives to align with department goals. Ensure that agile processes are followed for smooth, efficient, and predictable delivery of releases.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology10+ years of overall experience in Software Development or IT Engineering3+ years of experience in DevOps and Automation using cloud technologies preferably AWS,Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes/Amazon EKS, etc3+ years of experience in Application development using Java or JavaScript or any modernlanguage3+ years of experience in Agile Methodology3+ years of experience in people managerKeys to Success in this Role:This is not a project management role and key to success is being a technologist with leadership skills.Build strong partnerships with the application teams and IT teams to drive tactical implementations.Strong communication and influencing skills.Ability to work well with the application teams and people with varying degrees of technical expertise.Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.Attract, recruit, retain, and develop top talent. This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $153,000 - $229,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.
