Palmetto Family Homecare has an immediate need for Experienced Caregivers, Personal Care Assistants and CNAs for Full-Time and/or Part-Time positions in the Monks Corner area.
As a member of the Palmetto Family, you are not only providing home care, but you are developing relationships and making a difference in the life of your client and their family.
We have IMMEDIATE HIRE for the following position:
- Monday-Friday 9am-4pm
- Saturday- Sunday 9am-1pm
***Experience and/or knowledge of ALS (Lou Gehrig Disease) is a plus for this position***
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Personal Care Assistance (bathing, dressing, and grooming, etc.)
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Range of motion / exercises
- Assistance with transfers (use of hoyer lift as needed)
- Assisting with ambulation as needed
- Medication assistance
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Offer companionship and conversation
