In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world’s leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our Construction Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.What You’ll DoThe overall role of the Director is to lead and participate in client development opportunities, lead client accounts, and lead construction project teams. The primary goal of the Director is to develop and execute projects for our clients that meet our clients’ specific needs, with a high level of quality, in the most efficient manner. The responsibilities of the role include client development, construction oversight, risk management, resource management, project leadership and client leadership.Develop and maintain client accounts.Actively participate in the development of proposals that accurately and concisely define the scope of work, which achieves the clients’ objectives. Actively participate in the review of all design deliverables to ensure the production of the highest quality work product that meets the clients’ objectives. Seek input from the Discipline Leaders, Project Managers and the Construction Team for lessons learned on every project.Mentor staff to improve their body of knowledge and capabilities in alignment with the office and overall practice goals.Encourage the individual growth and improvement of the capabilities of each team member. Look for and offer opportunities for growth and advancement of team members.What You’ll BringMinimum 10 years of experience managing industrial construction projects with a General Contracting or A/E/C firm within the food & beverage, consumer health, or life science industries.Minimum 15 years of well-rounded experience that includes Business Development, Operations Management, Project Management, Technical Sales, Technical Services / Applications Engineering, Process Engineering, Quality Management.Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with our valued team members and clients.Proficient with written and verbal technical communication including generating reports and conducting group presentations.Willing and able to travel as necessary for project requirements to include but not be limited to: project installation and start-up activities, client meetings, company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, or conventions, etc.BS degree in Chemical, Electrical, Civil, Structural or Mechanical from an ABET accredited school.MS in a related field is highly desiredProfessional Engineering License is preferredOur culture and commitment to our people is what sets us apart.
