What you'll be doing 

The Leasing Specialist supports the leasing operations and financial performance of an assigned apartment community for 11Residential.  

  • Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve community revenue and occupancy goals. 
  • Greet, interact and qualify prospective residents. 
  • Initiate the process to screen prospective residents. 
  • Secure lease agreements. 
  • Conduct community tours, show apartment homes and process applications. 
  • Follow-up with future and new residents to ensure satisfaction finalizing leasing decisions. 
  • Respond quickly and courteously to resident concerns and questions. 
  • Communicate lease expirations and facilitate lease renewals. 
  • Ensure physically appealing models/amenities. 
  • Assist with property marketing activities and resident events. 
  • Travel through different sites needing assistance.  
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Education and Qualifications 

  • At least one year of experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, and/or leasing. 
  • Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels preferred. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. 
  • High school diploma/GED, Bachelor’s degree plus.
  • Ability to work a part-time schedule of 3 days per week, Thursday through Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM.

Benefits and Total Compensation

  • The compensation for this position is $15 to $18 per hour + leasing bonuses. 
  • Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. 
To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, the employee must be able to:
  • Perform work in a professional office environment.
  • Must be able to use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
  • Regularly required to sit, and to move about the various work environments to train, monitor and ensure compliance with all company requirements.
  • Ability to push/pull/lift up to 25lbs
  • Verbally communicate with employees, co-workers and customers in person and by phone.
  • May occasionally travel to various worksites requiring overnight stays, flights, and/or prolonged travel in a vehicle.
