Purchasing Assistant

Labor Solutions is seeking a Purchasing Assistant. Don't miss this Great Opportunity!

Pay: $48,000-$50,000/year.

Hours: 8 a.m.–4 p.m.

(they will let you choose your own schedule, such as 7 a.m.–3 p.m. or 9 a.m.–5 p.m. if the 8 a.m.–4 p.m. doesn't work)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Ensure all purchases adhere to purchasing practices.
• Place all purchase orders – maintain accurate records of pricing, acknowledgments, and deliveries.
• Keep all purchase agreements accurate and current.
• Produce and maintain purchasing reports as requested.
• Evaluate supplier performance - reviewing price, quality and dependability.
• Work closely with operations to maintain adequate inventory control.
• Communicate with other departments, particularly finance and manufacturing.
• Interact with suppliers on a regular basis.
• All other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

• Must be detail-oriented with strong computer skills, including Excel.
• Must be a team player with a focus on organizational results.
• Above average functional skills in analytics, decision making, communication, and mathematical aptitude.
• Preferred - technical aptitude with an understanding of basic manufacturing processes.
• Ability to pass the drug screen and background.
