Diesel Mechanic
Utility Partners of America (UPA) is seeking highly motivated and safety-conscious individuals to join its team as a Field Mechanic / Technician. This individual will work in accordance with company needs in support of equipment maintenance. Freightliner, International, Ford, Kubota, and various other equipment. REQUIREMENTS:
· A urinalysis, background check, and motor vehicle report will be run.
· Must have 4 years of experience or related certification(s)
· Knowledge of servicing diesel truck engines / heavy equipment and routine maintenance
· Must be willing and able to travel out of town in support of company needs.
· Able to work overtime if needed.
· Able to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems on ariel equipment. And proficient in electrical troubleshooting
· Able to work in all weather conditions.
· Clean driving record
· Strong work ethic and dependable: Attendance is imperative.
· Background Check and Drug Screen required.
· Own tools required (hand tools, wrenches, ratchets, sockets, etc.) but company will provide power tools.
· CDL License a plus but not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Inspects and repairs vehicles with diesel engines.
· Handles routine repairs, not limited to oil and tire changes.
· Interprets diagnostic test results accurately.
· Writes detailed inspection reports and repair plans.
· Collaborates with other diesel mechanics.
· Presents reports and plans to Supervision for approval.
· Completes test drives to make sure the vehicle runs correctly.
· Uses power, machine, and hand tools safely.
· Follow standard operating procedures and company policies.
· Drive company supplied work vehicle safely.

This position requires a high level of technical skill in diesel engine repair and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills are essential.
