Job Description
Job Summary:
To set up, adjust, and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production and quality on this equipment. Hydraulic cylinder repair, small engine maintenance, company truck maintenance, and various other construction equipment maintenance and repairs. All PPE, tools, and materials needed for work to successfully accomplish the task at hand will be supplied by TBT Management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action. Makes necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
Reviews maintenance schedule and ensures that all scheduled maintenance is complete.
Tests equipment to check operation. Tries out equipment after repairs.
Examines, tests, and measures equipment using gauges and instruments, and records data on appropriate forms.
Makes preventive maintenance check and inspection of assigned equipment, reports findings to supervisor and takes appropriate action.
Notifies supervisor of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken, and of quality problems or supplies needed.
Schedule and order needed materials for repairs.
Stage and store repaired equipment such as hydraulic jacks and equipment in correct locations.
Keep inventory or repaired hydraulic jacks for rotation of servicing older equipment and jacks.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to use hand tools and trades type tools.

Required Travel:
As needed, expected to be minimal and paid for by Company.
