Night Maintenance Technician

JOB TYPE: Direct hire
COMPENSATION: $24.00 - $32.00/HR
SHIFT PREMIUM: + $1.50 shift premium
LOCATION: JACKSON, MI
SHIFT: 3rd shifts
3rd SHIFT: 6pm - 6am, rotating 12- hour shifts

• Maintenance teams are on 12hr rotating shifts where team members work 3 days one week, 4 days the next, and enjoy a 3-day weekend every other week!
• Receive 40 hours straight pay + 2 hours OT for either week.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Position is responsible for the preventive maintenance and repair of facility equipment.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Perform tasks outlined in preventive maintenance system.
2) Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment as required.
3) Required to comply with work, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
4) May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-3 years' experience required.
• Must have excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Must be able to successfully demonstrate mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repair knowledge and experience.
• Must be able to communicate well with all levels of management and plant employees both verbally and in written form.
• Must maintain valid forklift license.

REPORT TO: Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor on matters of job procedure, job
performance and policy decisions. In absence of the Maintenance Supervisor, will report to
the Maintenance Manager.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Requires correct PPE for given task. Requires working in
industrial/manufacturing environment. Must be able to climb ladders, bend, kneel, crawl and
lift objects up to 50 lbs.
