TULSA TUBE BENDING JOB DESCRIPTION – PLANT SUPPORT

Under general supervision, Plant Support is responsible for facilitating plant production through close coordination with Sales, Team Leaders, QC, the Project Director, and the production schedules to stay ahead of production needs. This is designated as a safety-sensitive position.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

Requires full range of body motion to include constant lifting, bending, twisting, kneeling, pulling, stooping, squatting and standing. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires frequent, unassisted lifting of a variety of objects from various positions which range in weight from 5-60 pounds with average weight from 45-50 pounds. Must be able to tolerate and work in an environment of loud noise, dirt, grease and temperatures somewhat consistent with outside weather conditions (i.e. cold in the winter and hot in the summer). Must be able to work in an environment with a high frequency magnetic field, which may affect various medical devices including cardiac pacemakers and implantable defibrillators. Works under minimal supervision, exercising initiative and conscientiousness in the performance of assigned tasks. The job is fast paced and the ability to deal with stress is essential.

Essential Job Duties

· Creates, cuts, and distributes stencils through close coordination with sales/production schedules

Performs bend dimensional checks (GUL/Boardwalk, etc.) and inspections (High Spec).

· Inventories, stores, and distributes consumables, hand tools and other equipment.

o Orders new tools and equipment as needed. Includes maintenance of Kanban systems.

· Interfaces with Team Leaders for various third-party inspection (TPI) services and scheduling.

· Supports Project Director and QC with High Spec Bends and Coil requirements.

o Including MPS and Data Book creation, data entry (High Spec).

o Includes weld map and tag creation, Bill of Material/Parts list review (Coil).

· Monitors and communicate appropriate metrics.

· Follows safety and good housekeeping regulations.

· Follows attendance requirements; meet scheduled hours of work.

· Conducts New Hire Training.

· Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Basic/Intermediate Excel knowledge preferred.

o Working knowledge of in-cell functions and referencing required.

· Knowledge of basic math, including fractions.

· Communicate clearly with co-workers and supervisors.

· Ability to handle multiple job assignments.

· Accurately read a tape measure to 1/32 of an inch and a protractor to within a fraction of a degree.

· Read, understand and follow instructions on shop work orders.
