Wipro Givon USA has an exciting new opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position repairs and maintains production machinery and mechanical equipment.

Abilities - Are you a good fit:

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
• Ability to write reports and effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and other personnel.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to obtain Forklift Certification.
• The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and climb or balance.
• The employee is routinely required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Job Duties and Responsibilities - What will you do daily:

• Troubleshoots and repairs all malfunctioning or inoperable plant equipment and machinery
• Repairs and/or replaces defective parts.
• Lubricates and cleans parts as needed.
• Minor electrical troubleshooting.
• Starts devices to test their performance.
• Performs scheduled preventative maintenance activities on plant machinery and equipment.
• Strictly enforces equipment lockout procedures for all machines and equipment when repairs are being performed. Posts lockout tags to notify employees of lockout status.
• Meets established standards for productivity and quality. Confers with supervisor when problems arise which impact expected level of performance.
• Must contribute to a positive work environment.
• Performs any task required to support customer requirement and company goals.
