Adam Search Group is partnering with a highly reputable company in the Columbus Ohio area that is looking to hire a Land Development Civil Project Manager to lead and oversee their land development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial, residential, mixed-use, or municipal land development projects, ensuring the successful planning, design, and execution of these projects.

What they are looking for you to do:

Project Planning and Design:

  • Lead the planning and design phases of land development projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop project plans.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Obtain necessary permits and approvals for land development projects.
  • Stay updated on zoning laws and land use regulations.

Budgeting, Cost Management, Contract Management:

  • Develop project budgets and timelines.
  • Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to budget.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Review and approve project invoices and payments.
  • Monitor contractor performance and adherence to project specifications.

Team Leadership:

  • Provide guidance and support to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive project team environment.

Client Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Provide regular project updates and address client concerns.
  • Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

What they would like you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Proven experience in land development and civil engineering project management.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and permitting processes.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
