Litehouse is seeking a full-time Director, Commercialization & Consumer Insights to join our team.

This position is open to 100% remote candidates. Candidates in Sandpoint, ID highly desired in hybrid capacity.

Shares responsibility for of the development of the organization's strategic plan(s) to ensure the continued successful growth and profitability of the organization. Identifies and develops opportunities for business expansion. Conducts environmental scans, organizational positioning analyses and other studies. Develops marketing strategies and provides input into market account plans and the company's strategic plan. Acts as liaison with other companies in market sector as well as professional organizations. Leads and/or supports specific strategic initiatives and campaigns. Ensures that business strategy is implemented. Oversees the employment, training, motivation, and evaluation of assigned employees.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop Strategy, plans, and initiatives to achieve volume, revenue, profit, market share across sales channels in partnership with both Sales and Marketing sub-groups.
  • Build a more comprehensive and multi-channel strategy process, including annual planning, pro-forma P&L modeling based on assortment planning, JBP process with customers and distributors, and providing forecasting and revenue modeling guidance.
  • Work directly with Leadership to establish sales volume goals, product mix, and appropriate pricing/promotion to achieve budget.
  • Work with Sales & Marketing leadership to determine go-to market strategy, customer and consumer prioritizations, and innovation roadmaps.
  • Create Consumer/Shopper/and Business Management Insights strategy that supports annual business plans, assists both Sales & Marketing SME's in analyzing and managing business areas, tracks performance relative to established KPI's, and supports consumer-centric innovation pathways.
  • Developing and executing a Category strategy that supports regionality, drives feedback loops within the organization for portfolio management, and improves overall brand and category growth.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Economics, Public Relations, Statistics, Advertising, Management, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years Progressive experience working in a channel sales, sales, or business development role with 5+ years meeting and exceeding sales goals in SaaS or B2B sales. Demonstrated track record of driving channel sales within a similar channel and product category highly desired
  • 10+ years Proven Track record of success in Category/Insight management across multiple retail channels (management of multi-brand portfolio preferred)
  • 10+ years Proven leadership experience carrying out sales strategy efforts, including planning, prioritizing, and implementing strategy
  • 10+ years Significant experience in market research, consumer insights, and brand measurement
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Proven track record of bringing new product innovation to market
  • Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
  • Sound problem-solving skills, and proactive efforts in seeking solutions to problems
  • Knowledge of budget control methods, policies, and procedures
  • Knowledge of data and trends to identify new sales opportunities
  • Excellent knowledge of business functions (marketing, finance, accounting, operations) and general business strategy
  • Ability to make sound business decisions and use appropriate judgment
  • Certified Business Development Manager-AIBMC Business Development Certified Business Development Manager-AIBMC Preferred
  • Certified Marketing Management Professional Marketing Certified Marketing Management Professional Preferred
