Temporary Employment Summer Schedule:
Seeds of Excellence Christian Academy is seeking knowledgeable, nurturing, energetic, and dedicated Christian Summer Camp Staff to join our team.
Camp staff will supervise and guide children who are taking part in summer camp activities. This level of care has special demands and requires someone who is dedicated to meeting the care and education needs of kindergarten through 5th grade students, which includes providing unparalleled customer service every day for the families we serve.

Summary
Temporary Employment Summer Schedule:
- June 6-7 Pre-planning/training
- 5 weeks of camp: June 10- July 19, 2024 (closed on 6/19 and the week of July 1-5)
- Daily hours 7:30AM-4:30PM (with a 1-hour off duty lunch break)

Duties
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for general classroom management and supervision
- Ability to plan and implement activities for children that emphasize physical, social, and emotional growth; language and intellectual development; creativity, and awareness of the total environment
- Implement strategies for academic subjects (Math, Language Arts, and Reading)
- Personal care, hygiene, and positive reinforcement of children
- Follow and implement camp rules and guidelines
- Always maintain the safety and well-being of children
- Must be mentally and physically fit to perform the required duties as assigned
- Chaperone field trips and other non-campus activities
- Other duties as assigned by Admin Team
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience working with children in a summer camp setting
- Director: Associate’s degree or higher in education or a related field (preferred)
- Counselors: High School Diploma or higher (must be 18 years and older)
- Classroom teaching experience with K-5th grade students
- Passionate about engaging and interacting with elementary-age students
- Christian educator who loves God and His people
