Accounting Manager (Direct Hire)

Job Title: Accounting Operations Manager

Job Type: Full-time/In Person/Direct Hire

Pay: $75-85k+, depending upon experience

As their Accounting Operations Manager, you will be tasked with the following duties:

• Oversee the accounting department function, includes managing general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other financial transactions.
• Prepare financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Conducting/overseeing audits
• Assist in implementing and managing company budgets and resources
• Manage accounting department team of 9+ employees
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
  
• Monitor and improve employee performance
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards, (State, Federal and Local)
• Assist in hiring and training staff, delegating tasks, and providing feedback and guidance to ensure that the team is performing effectively
• Support warehouse and customer service operations by providing problem-solving guidance on customer, shipping and/or order-related issues
  

We're looking for an Accounting Operations Manager with the following background profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• At least 5+ years experience in an accounting/operations role PLUS 5+ years in an accounting/operations leadership role
• Strong knowledge around ERP systems
• Excellent knowledge around GAAP
