What We Are Looking For
Overland Partners has an exceptional opportunity for a visionary leader to join a dynamic and innovative team as the Head of Marketing.  Reporting directly to the President, this senior leader will play a pivotal role in driving the firm’s continued growth and transformation and positioning Overland as the go-to firm for architectural and design solutions. This position may be based in San Antonio, Austin or Dallas.  

Key Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Develop and execute our marketing strategies to drive growth, increase brand awareness, and promote our expertise to clients. Leverage the firm's recognized capabilities to create opportunities/potential projects, maintain and establish meaningful client and colleague relationships and oversee the development of high-quality and compelling marketing materials.

Collaborate closely with executive leadership and external agencies to oversee the development and implementation of effective marketing campaigns and initiatives across multiple channels.  
 
Lead a team of marketing professionals that ensure the firm’s brand and reputation remains unified by a strong communications program and supported by multi-media presence on-line and off-line.
 
Marketing Strategy:
  • Conduct market research to identify target audiences and competitive emerging trends.
  • Create a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the firm's business goals and objectives.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign success.
 
Brand Management:
  • Develop and maintain a strong brand identity that reflects the firm's values, expertise, and   unique   positioning in the design industry.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual representation across all marketing materials and channels.
  • Monitor brand perception and implement strategies to enhance brand reputation.
 
 
Marketing Campaigns:
  • Lead, develop and manage integrated marketing campaigns to generate leads, promote services, and drive client acquisition.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to create compelling content, including brochures, presentations, case studies, and website materials. 
  • Utilize digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and search engine   optimization (SEO) to maximize campaign effectiveness. Monitor marketing campaign performance and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
 
Business Development:
  • Foster strategic partnerships and collaborations to expand the firm's reach and influence in the industry.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to identify and pursue new business opportunities while delivering strategic thinking to align marketing strategies to pursuits.
  • Oversee and support client proposals, presentations, and pitches and provide marketing insights and materials.
 
Team Leadership:
  • Lead, manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support.  
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop the team's skills and knowledge through training initiatives and development opportunities.
 
 
Performance Measurement and Analytics:
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing best practices to drive innovation and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Provide regular reports and presentations to the executive leadership team, highlighting key performance metrics and recommendations for improvement. 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
  • 10+ years’ experience in a senior-level marketing leadership position within the A/E/C industry. 
  • Strong understanding of the design industry, including its trends, key players, and target audiences.
  • Experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, tools, and analytics.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
