Who We Are:

Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center is located in Breckenridge, Colorado - the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Nestled between the mountain and Main Street, at Beaver Run you're just a few steps away from the ski slopes in the winter and the hiking trails in the summer. With 40,000 square feet of conference and meeting spaces, Beaver Run is the largest conference center in Breckenridge with the most scenic views and most professional team, services and amenities.

What You'll Do:

The Revenue Manager is a key position with Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center and is responsible for setting prices that will maximize the hotel's profitability and meet its strategic goals. A successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge and experience with the hospitality and resort industry and demonstrated expertise with industry software, including RMS, PMS, and CRM. This role partners closely with reservations and sales in determining day-to-day and long-term strategies based on data such as pacing, market trends, competition, historical occupancy and rates, etc. Full-time, year-round position with benefits eligibility as described below.

Position starts at $80,000-$92,000 annual salary

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Determine and implement pricing and positioning of property and units to meet financial goals and increase RevPAR.
  • Manage data analytic functions utilizing a variety of technologies to determine short and long-term strategies to achieve or surpass topline revenue and net profit goals.
  • Develop and utilize custom reporting from a variety of systems including SMS and Duetto.
  • Implement strategies to address maximization of transient and group business to drive revenue.
  • Conduct regular pricing review to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Identify trends in industry and dynamics in local market to anticipate revenue and inventory management over the course of the year including rates and positioning.
  • Monitor the performance of different distribution channels such as OTAs and direct bookings and adjust tactics to increase financial performance.
  • Provide guidance and support to sales and marketing initiatives that are targeted to meet the needs of the property.
  • Create accurate revenue forecasts that help set property goals and outgrow competition.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or analytics - preferred
  • 5+ years experience in hospitality/resort industry or equivalent - required
  • 3+ years revenue management experience- required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook and Word - required
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data related software - required
  • Demonstrated experience using and creating custom reporting in RMS, PMS and CRMs - required
  • Experience with Duetto and SMS - preferred
  • Knowledge of SQL - preferred
