Dove Healthcare is seeking an experienced, registered nurse with strong clinical and mentoring skills to become our next Regional Clinical Consultant.

As a regional clinical consultant, you will work with the clinical services team to support Dove Healthcare's ten skilled nursing facilities and provide clinical and administrative leadership.

In addition, as the regional clinical consultant, you will:

  • manage and implement best clinical practice strategies,
  • develop policies / procedures for best clinical and infection prevention practices,
  • lead the creation and implementation of quality improvement audits / competencies for employees
  • pursue opportunities for creating / building clinical specialties to support Dove Healthcare's initiatives
  • coordinate and lead monthly DON meetings,
  • support the nurse leadership teams throughout Dove Healthcare,
  • create a formal, in-house system for nurse career ladder,
  • mentor new nurse leadership personnel, and
  • serve as interim director of nursing, as needed

Requirements Include:

  • graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license
  • thorough knowledge and understanding of state and federal regulations
  • comprehensive knowledge of nursing techniques
  • evidence of leadership, creativity, integrity, and initiative
  • effective problem solving and communication skills
  • strong organization skills
  • travel throughout Wisconsin is required
