Job DescriptionRole Accountabilities
- Assist with design of various water and waste water projects for small to large sized facilities.
- Assist technical staff with cost estimating and plan layout
- Opportunities to work with modelling and design software
- Potential work includes water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, water and sewer mains
- Work with engineers and CAD staff to develop preliminary planning documents
- Assist with the design of projects and observe construction projects
- Opportunities to experience meetings with clients, contractors and the business of consulting engineering
Qualifications
- Undergraduate student pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
- Interest in water resources as a career path
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Able to work effectively independently and on a team
- Previous Co-op work experience is an asset
- Available for a 4 month Co-op placement
