About the Role:

As an experienced Civil Engineer in our team, you will be at the forefront of planning and executing new development projects. Your proven expertise, spanning 5-10 years, will be crucial in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with our high standards. You'll take charge of the entire development process, emphasizing civil engineering aspects, and keep our company executives well-informed every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning: Collaborate on the planning and coordination of development activities for assigned projects.

- Project Management: Create and manage project plan schedules for production-submission-approvals.

- Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve project issues promptly and accurately.

- Site Analysis: Conduct preliminary site, civil, and infrastructure analysis, including grading and drainage assessments.

- Compliance: Ensure compliance with zoning restrictions, performing preliminary site design as needed.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Represent our company at municipal meetings and coordinate with internal teams.

- Due Diligence: Coordinate due diligence work with third-party vendors, such as ordering Alta/Geo/Phase1 assessments.

- Collaboration: Work closely with civil, traffic engineers, environmental consultants, landscape designers, and site lighting experts.

- Technical Proficiency: Competently read and interpret civil engineering drawings, solving any obstacles that may arise.

- Vendor Management: Manage contracts and bids with vendors and suppliers.

- Budgeting: Build take-off budgets and proformas for various project types.

- Communication: Provide regular updates on project schedules and effectively communicate project updates, potential risks, and mitigation plans to leadership.

Education & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

- Preferably, experience with ground-up development and horizontal design management.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D).

- Demonstrated experience in reading construction documents and specification manuals.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Civil Engineering, project planning, oversight, and delivery.

- Strong collaboration, communication, results orientation, flexibility, and adaptability skills.
