Experienced Back Parts Counter Person

Job Summary:

Frank Kent Country is currently seeking an Experienced Back Parts Counter Person to join our team in Corsicana, Texas. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a back parts counter position and a passion for providing excellent customer service. This person will be responsible for assisting customers with their auto parts needs and ensuring a positive and efficient experience at our dealership.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner at the back parts counter
- Listen to customer needs and determine the appropriate parts and accessories to fulfill their request
- Utilize inventory system to locate and order parts as needed
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of parts transactions and communicate any discrepancies to management
- Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized back parts counter area
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer concerns in a timely manner
- Keep up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines in the workplace

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a back parts counter role in the auto industry is required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers
- Proficient in using computer systems and inventory management software
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
