JOB TITLE: General Clerk III

LOCATION: Kittery ME – Portsmouth Naval Shipyard

SUPPORTING: Submarine Maintenance Engineering Planning & Procurement (SUBMEPP) for Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time Service Contract Act (SCA)

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.

WORK MODEL: Patrona Corporation prioritizes the benefits of flexibility and collaboration, whether that happens in person or remotely, This is an onsite position, and you will work in-person from the customer site.

COMPENSATION: This position is subject to the Service Contract Act (SCA) and is required to pay at least the applicable minimum wage rate required under Executive Order 14026.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Two years of related general clerk or administrative experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Use multiple Administrative Services computer systems such as: SharePoint, ERP, TWMS, TMS, and MS Office Suite.
  • Maintain records and schedule meetings on a daily basis using Outlook calendars.
  • Maintain metrics showing the status of actions and correspondence.
  • Update and maintain Work Procedures and Continuity Book.
  • Maintain Telework Agreements to make sure they are current and up to date with all requirements. Scan and electronically file agreements.
  • Assist with the hiring process, setting up files, scanning and sanitizing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Issue SITARS and SAARN for new employees so they can gain accesses to the SUBMEPP systems and NMCI systems.
  • Out process government employees as well as contractors on and off site.
  • Keep track of all Service and Retirement Awards.
  • Receive customers, determine the nature of their requests, and come to a resolution.
  • Receive all incoming correspondence, log, serialize, and direct it to the appropriate department.
  • Assist with the coordination of activities, recognition events and meetings.
  • Provide support and assistance as requested with various ongoing human resources projects and initiatives.
