Maintenance Technician

The responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician include but are not limited to performing general maintenance and repairs to all guest rooms/suites, meeting space, restaurant and common areas.

• Responds to engineering and maintenance concerns as requested by Engineering Manager and Engineering Coordinator
• Performs all preventative maintenance in Guest Rooms including the company’s Knowcross PM system with follow through when the project is completed
• Maintains departmental compliance with hotel maintenance procedures at all time

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of minor Electrical, Plumbing, and carpentry preferred but not required
• Hotel or Resort experience preferred
• Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekend, holiday and evening shifts
• Excellent Communication skills required with staff & guests
• Must be able to work both independently and in teams
• Valid Driver’s license required
• Well organized with the ability to work in a fast pace environment
• Fluency in English (verbal/written) is necessary, ability to speak additional languages is desired but not required
• Additional Requirements include grouting showers, able to caulk tubs, touchup woodwork, and minor carpentry
• Lift requirements of 50lbs or heavier
• Flexible with schedule; can work weekends and holidays
