Our client,  is seeking an Interim Accounting Manager to join their team. As an Accounting Manager, you will be part of the finance team driving month-end, quarter end, and year end close. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, time management, and organization which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounting Manager

Location: Sterling, MA

Pay Range: 50-65/hour to be negotiated based on experience

What’s the Job?

• Driving month end, quarter end, and year end closings

• Reconciles income statement and balance sheet accounts. 

• Coordinates with client facilities regarding the timing and flow of documentation supporting monthly financial statement preparation. 

• Reviews source documents, source journals, and manual schedules submitted by the facilities as the basis for financial statements. 

• Prepares monthly financial statements, including at a minimum, income statements, balance sheets, statements of cash flows and related quantitative analyses. 
• Prepares journal entries and supporting explanations for financial statement adjustments and performs related data entry. 

What’s Needed?

• 5+ years of Accounting or Finance experience. 

• Current understanding of generally accepted accounting principles for private companies. 

• Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a client-service environment. 

• Excellent written and oral communication skills. 

• Strong time management skills. 

• Working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing applications. 

• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
